By providing charitable eye care services, we strive to improve the sight of Nevadans with treatable vision loss. Our goal is to improve lives through better sight for those who would otherwise have no hope. The Sight for Life team of doctors, support staff, and Foundation supporters are committed to making a difference in how Nevadans see. Recipients of our services will be eligible for medical care regardless of their ability to pay.

SIGHT FOR LIFE FOUNDATION was established in 2001 by Las Vegas ophthalmologist, Dr. Eva Liang. The need for the Foundation was obvious when she encountered many patients who had sight threatening diseases who were unable to follow through with their eye care needs due to a lack of insurance or other pay source. Most doctors are willing to donate their time for these patients; but unfortunately, the patients also need medications, medical supplies, or further treatments that cannot always be completed in the doctors' office. Sight for Life was developed to fill this gap in our community.

The Foundation's goal is to assist people with treatable vision loss, who would otherwise not receive care. Patients that are accepted into the Foundation will receive eye care free of charge. Those who wish to apply for services may do so directly, or through a referral from their participating ophthalmologist or optometrist.

SIGHT FOR LIFE APPLICATION
All patients applying to the Foundation must complete an application and have been examined within the past 30 days.
